I am looking for hard-core information on how to write simple routines to write and receive characters from a Super Serial Card using an interrupt-driven handler. This is, of course, for a modem program. I have found various sources of information lacking in depth for what I need. I already have the SSC reference manual (the old one), the IIe technical reference (which describes firmware almost exclusively), and I also have a few sources on interrupts under ProDOS. Please mail to me, or post here. Of particular interest to me is how the CONTROL, STATUS, and COMMAND registers on the SSC are used in conjunction with interrupts to get incoming characters, and conversely, to send them out. Thanks. -Russell Buyse. UUCP: {allegra,ihnp4,uiucdcs,ctvax}!convex!buyse
