Well, if you have the unenhanced //e you will definitely lose data during scrolls at 1200 baud or higher. If you don't then the host must be sending data slower than 1200 baud. If you lose them in the middle of lines then you probably have been using emulation or something that also results in the older firmware turning off interrupts for too long or you might just have simple line noise but if you use a comm program you should probably be using the //e enhancement kit. Aside from the fixed interrupt code, you'll find that your screen moves faster among other things.
