Well, I finally got a hold of SHRConvert (thanks Taro Nobusawa) after trying to get it from the LISTSERV for two weeks to no avail. Still, I was slightly dissapointed to find that it does not translate Super-Hi-Res images (320x200) into the GIF picture format. I thought that someone mentioned that SHRConvert was capable of this. What's going on? Right now, I have two GIF readers (IIGIF, SHRConvert). SHRConvert works extremely well for translating images (Hires --> Super-Hires, etc.), but I have yet to be able to get a GIF picture to successfully view vi IIGIF. Anyway, my question stemms from the fact that NEITHER program can convert images to GIF format. What programs exist which can do this? Are any in the public domain? Shareware? Basically, could someone be kind enough to mail me a program which can CREATE GIF images from HIRES, DOUBLE HIRES, and SUPER HIRES graphics? Or atleast information as to where and how I can obtain one? Thanx for any help in advance... ============================================================================== ARPA: aehl@csd4.milw.wisc.edu USMAIL: Donald Aehl Box #204 3400 N.
