Organization: University of California, Berkeley First up, I don't subscribe to this news group and I am doing this for a friend, so please e-mail me respones. What is a good hard disk for the IIGS, he is looking for one of about 40 meg and up, a good access time would be nice (below 60ms please) and of course a good deal would be nice (kinda what we all want :-). Please give me sources and prices if possible. Experiences with brands would be nice also. Next question: What is a good c compiler for the IIGS? While looking briefly over the headers for this news group I saw APW. How unix compatible is it? Is the good it makes very fast? How much is it? Does it have the cabilibities of really getting done to the features of the GS "easily". How about support utilities? Last up: Speed up for the IIGS, my friend said there was some chip called the Zip chip for the IIe and that the company was going to come out for a IIGS version but that seems to have gotten the deep 6. Anyother speedups out there? Oh yah, results of a favorable response will be posted as will be the results of any purchase that my friend makes. Thanks a lot, ken kindsfater flames > /dev/nul
