Hi there, Does anyone know if there has been an implementation of the UUCP protocol for the Apple //. I'm trying to design a program to interface a //gs to USENET, and I dont fancy re-inventing the wheel much. SAource code in assembler, BASIC, Pasca, or C would be ideal. %%%% Geva %%%% Geva Patz

I believe UUPC (UUCP for PC's) should easily port to a GS. [someone should confirm this, but I think it's available on the comp.sources.unix archive sites (via anonymous FTP and various archive-servers)] -- - Ralph W. there is some 'generic' thing called UUPC written in C . its public domain but its not a real uucp/uucico/uuxqt/... thing. it is available here too. btw: it would be very nice to have a real uucp for the apple, especially if it could be used with ProLine which already has a mailer etc! i'd like to suggest that you contact mdavis@pro-sol (the author of proline) - he knows a lot about unix mailing etc... {hi morgan ! i'm still having trouble with &SLOW :-( } have phun ! -- Heiko Blume # DOMAIN: blume@netmbx.UUCP { BITNET: ( mixed } Seekorso 29 # BANG : ..!{backbone}!netmbx!blume D-1000 Berlin 22, West-Germany # Phone : (+49 30) 365 55 71 or ... 365 75 01 Telex : 183008 intro d # Fax : (+49 30) 882 50 65

Thanks! If UUPC is source code, I could easily port it. Do you know where I could find an archive server? %%% Geva %%%%
