Could anyone inform me as how to upload files. I have six files on my college mainframe account that I'd like to be using on my Apple. The files were pulled from the Apple2-l listing, so I should have no problem right? Also, as I was looking through the Apple2-l listing, at times, I was unable to determine whether the files were compatible with a ][e or a GS. I don't belive GS code is executable or even compilable with a ][e. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Douglas Howell USnail: Box 123 (xc60039@Portland) Hulls Cove, Maine 04644

I left out an important detail in my last letter to this forum. I ment to include that I am currenly using Kermit and Apple Access II. I'm more familar with Apple Access, tho I have been learing how to use Kermit. Most of my access to files is either direct method thru other bulletin boards, very long distant since Maine only has two or three that I know of. Anyhow, the files are in my readerlist of my mainframe (CMS) account. I was hoping that there would be some simple method of retrieving the files such as: receiving the files on the CMS account and then doing a series of print screens (or the like) to a textfile on the Apple, then converting the files to executable files somehow thereafter. If that's too far fetched, let me know how to accomplish the task with either application and I'll be very happy. Thanks in advance. Any responses welcomed.
