My dad has a Mac Lisa XL sitting in his office, which when purchased was top of the line merchandise back then. Well with the onset of newer and faster machines he has attempted to upgrade; MacLisa to MacLisa XL (more like the pioneering Macs). I was wondering if there is anyway to upgrade it again to have (near) the speed of a Mac plus or SE? I've talked to a dealer in town and he was quite suprised that anyone still used such a machine. When I tried to get an estimation as to how much I could sell it for, the salesperson told me that it wasn't worth the effort. Is there any place that I might be able to trade in this model for another? The computer is in great shape, but my dad would really like to upgrade to a computer that would handle CADD a little faster. Is there still a market for the MacLisa? Douglas Howell (xc60039@Portland)
