I'm babysitting a friend's //c for the summer and of course he didn't give me any of the manuals. Would someone please send me the pinouts for the 5-pin modem port--I want to make a null-modem cable for it. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ___ __/ \ _ / _ \_/ \__^__/\_/-\ Pete Wenzel | | | ---PMWenzel----> Caltech 1-60 | |_| ==============/ Pasadena, CA 91126 \__ / @CITRomeo.Bitnet (818) 577-9005 \___/ @Juliet.Caltech.Edu =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Here are the pinouts, according to the Apple //c tech. manual: Pins numbered clockwise Pin Signal --- ------ 1 Data Terminal Ready (DTR) 2 Transmit Data (TD) 3 Ground (GND) 4 Received Data (RD) 5 Data Set Ready (DSR) Port 1 and 2 pinouts are identical. Note that the //c firmware is very similar BUT NOT IDENTICAL to the Super Serial card firmware. %%%% Geva %%%%
