The Diversi-Cache documentation didn't make it too clear that the Shift-Apple-Ctrl-Reset thing is a FEATURE OF DIVERSI-CACHE, not of the IIgs's ROM. At least one magazine also published the "tip" about using Shift with Apple-Ctrl-Reset, without mentioning Diversi-Cache at all. I assume the author misread the Diversi-Cache documentation & forgot where he read it. By the way, from Davex (a Shareware command shell of mine), "boot -i" will also do the trick ("i" means Ice-cold). >Taro Nobusawa taro@uhccux.uhcc.hawaii.edu > taro@uhccux.BITNET >Compu$erve 71071,322 {ihnp4,uunet,ucbvax}!ucsd!nosc!uhccux!taro --David A. I just figured that out. Thanks for the correction. There's got to be a
better way of reconfiguring the RAM disk.
By the way, anyone have Defender of the Crown for the GS and know what causes
intermitent crashes? Usually happens when it gets some music to play. Once
when I got to the very end just before getting to the screen showing you
getting crowned, and another time at the opening scene of the joust.
Oh yeah, I really like this game. Excellent graphics, ok music, great
play, if you're into simulation type games.
