[comp.sys.apple] faulty mailers

Murphy's Law of Computer Software: "There is ALWAYS one more bug."

If you won't use anything that's not perfect, you may find yourself
unable to get some things done. I'd guess there are LOTS of developers
out there who are hard at work on REV whatever who are offended at
being referred to as "incompetent" (a term I reserve for those who
either have no interest in tracing and fixing or who think THEY know
how computers should be used better than the people trying to get
something accomplished).

If I find a bug, I want it fixed (that's what I mean by "training 'em"),
BUT the average system administrator is likely to be aware of more
problems actual and potential than we are. I certainly hope my
system administrator's priorities are inclined toward preventing
outright crashes before dealing with mere nuisances (hence, it is
sometimes necessary to put up with or work around problems - you can't
"convince 'em" on the spot).

Course, instead of complaining, you might fix it yourself :-)
