When I exec'd the file containing the T.I.M documents, I got a Binary II file as I sort of expected. Two of the documents were TXT files as I expected. The third showed a bad file type in the BLU directory and a length of 1 block. BLU (2.28) could not extract it. Anyone else have this problem?

The bad file type is type NON it is on a file File called FREETERM which is there only to make an Icon appear on the desktop. Now that I know how to split BLU file I'll put FREETERM Proper on APPLE2-l for all to have I's not a great terminal program but it does use the desk top and support xmodem if nothing else it is of Historical Interest as the first PRODOS16 terminal program and shows how really slow things can be in Prodos16 Grant

But then again, all I did was print the document files. I never attempted to download or run any of the other T.I.M. files. ------------------------------------------------------------------- J. The file with type BAD is FREE.TERM, an emtpy (EOF = 0) file which only
purpose is to show you it's associated icon (something like FT.ICON in the
ICONS dir) in the Finder (be sure to select the icon to see how the phone
lines stay red !). To make this work, change the filetype of the BIN file
left by BLU back to BAD (the icon is tied to a file named FREE.TERM with type
BAD). ^

I'm not sure about this colon
Or go to BASIC and "CREATE FREE.TERM,T1". Of course it was stupid in the first
place by the author to use type BAD for a normal file !!!
