Murph, I tried switching sw2-6 to on; sw1-6 was already 'on'. Does this only work for the enhanced ][e? It seems to blow my kermit right out of the water. When I try to 'connect' I get thrown out of kermit with the following left on the screen: '8829: A=81 X=6D Y=29 P=BD S=E7'. I have no idea of what that means or if it is of any value. Last night I was getting the error: 'Prodos error & call Address: Call $43 5579'. Does that tell ya anything? As far as I can see, I'm dead iin the water with Kermit . Kermit v2.11 did seem to work, but I had the daud set at 1200. I'm not sure whether the fact that v2.11 is on a Dos 3.3 disk and v3.81 is on Prodos makes any sort of difference. I first thought that a speed-up card that's in the machine may have caused the problem. But after turning it off by softswitch and pulling it out altogether, there was no difference in outcome. Version 2.11 does seem to work, but It doesn't have the vt100 emulation that my system requires. Is an enhancement the only way to go? Douglas Howell (xc60039 at Portland)
