So far, we haven't been able to figure out how to get APPLE2-L to return files to UUCP mailers. HOWEVER, you CAN send files to APPLE2-L. You can even be added to APPLE2-L's distribution list; what you can't do is retrieve things from APPLE2-L's archives. There are a number of legit Apple program developers with subscriptions to APPLE2-L (Dave Lyons author of DAVEX, for example). Files sent to comp.binaries.apple2 seem to eventually find their way to APPLE2-L, but the process is NOT automatic and, therefore, is subject to failure. I'd guess the most direct route from you to APPLE2-L would be: !ucbvax!brownvm.bitnet!apple2-l, although decwrl can find brownvm.bitnet, and the "official" address probably is: ...psuvax1!brownvm.bitnet!apple2-l Murph Sewall Sewall@UCONNVM.BITNET Business School sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@mitvma.mit.edu [INTERNET] U of Connecticut {rutgers psuvax1 ucbvax & in Europe - mcvax} !UCONNVM.BITNET!SEWALL [UUCP] -+- My employer isn't responsible for my mistakes AND vice-versa!
