Has anyone seen the 1944 Otto Preminger film "Laura?"
This is the one that stars Gene Tieney as the detective
investigating the murder of a beautiful woman, socialite,
successful advertising executive all-in-one, (a real
feminine triple threat) who turns up alive mid-way through
the show.
It seems the murder victim was a look-a-like fashion model
who is suspected of fooling around with the socialite's
fiancee.
Vincent Price plays the role of an middle aged, smart guy,
columnist and man about town who tutors Laura ala Lisa
Doolitle.
It's a great film, but that's as much as I know about it,
because I fell asleep half way through the late show.
Can some one out there in net.movieland save me from forever
asking:
1. How does it end?
2. Who done it?
3. Who played Laura?
4. Was that "Laura's Theme" I heard in the background?
