Hey, I'm getting sick of hearing about viruses, too!
The small BASIC program I wrote (Wopfog) worked fine on the Festering Hate
virus. But it was only one byte away from also detecting the CyberAIDS
strain. So I've gotten a hold of both forms of the virus and have updated
Wopfog to handle them all (plus any future strains that have similar
signatures). Rather than upload another text listing of the file to the net,
if you want a copy you are free to log onto pro-sol and download a it from
our Data Library. Look for "WOPFOG (7/29/88)". Of course, if the demand is
great enough, and the net gods don't mind, I can always shoot another copy out
into netland.
