I was wondering if anyone had the pinouts for the Imagewriter II 15 inch carriage? There are two sets of dip switches; 1-8 and 1-4. When I bought my printer there was no manual. Presently it prints out rather odd; it sorta alternates between sets of characters and the chatacters are not lined up. I'm not sure if the Imagewriter normally prints characters that are a little off center or not, but the 12" ones that I've used at work don't seem to express the same problems. Thanx for any help in advance. Doug

I just solved this problem for the Imagewriter I borrowed from a friend not more than an hour ago! When I got it, it would print in a proportional-space typestyle, so columns wouldn't line up and program listings looked horrible. A quick call to a dealer revealed that for normal (elite) type, switches 6 and 7 on SW1 should be on and off (open), respectively. ___ __/ \ _ / _ \_/ \__^__/\_/-\ Pete Wenzel | | | ---PMWenzel----> Caltech 1-60 | |_| ==============/ Pasadena, CA 91126 \__ / @CITRomeo.Bitnet (818) 577-9005 \___/ @Juliet.Caltech.Edu
