just trying to keep the hope alive, but this month's issue of InCider with the picture of Woz on the front reported in a special column about a machine in the works at Apple that fits the description that was posted on this board some time ago (600X400 4-color screen, 2-3 times faster, 128K sound RAM, 760K RAM standard, tools, etc. etc.). Considering how conservative magazines generally are on rumors and vaporware, I figured this might mean something. For example, most publications did not write a blurb about the ZipChip until last month despite the fact they had been regularly publishing Zip's full page ads since the Fall Applefest when the Chip was introduced.... sorry to disappoint you, but incider has NEVER in my mind been 'conservative' if anything -i rank them as the 'national enquirer' of apple ii magazines! my guess is that someone on the staff saw this same article, or one based on it, and are reporting it as fact. -- Larry W.
