i just had a good (IMHO) idea:
since many people would like to get prgms from listserv but cant
get to there i'd suggest that some nice person post a list of the
available prgms and those who want specific files send a mail
to that nice person. if the filename(s) would be in the mail body alone
a little prgm could pick them up for GETing from listserv and post the
requested files to comp.binaries.apple2 after some time of collecting requests.
that way many requests could be served with one posting as opposed to one
send for each GET (on bitnet).
but who is the nice person tha has acces to bitnet && usenet ???
