I just posted the latest version of Z-Link to APPLE2-L. It now works on an enhanced //e so don't just growl at this note. Try it out. Those who do decide to send me money, please send me some e-mail saying that you've paid for it. I'll be using the return address in your mesg in order to send you updates. Yes, this means that those who don't pay won't be seeing any later versions... Actually, two things: has news dried up completely? I haven't seen anything here for a couple of days... secondly, I've just posted the 7/7/88 vers of Z-Link to comp.binaries.apple2. It consists of a fix to a minor fluke in the vt100 emulation. Those of you having trouble with vi and lines greater than 80 chars will no longer have that trouble. I've also cleaned up a few things and legalized other code. Could somebody send me a note telling me the highest baud rate they can get this version of Z-Link to work at? Do things like vt100 emulation sequences and file transfers (both xmodem and ymodem). Also tell me what machine you were using at the time (GS,//e,//c or some compatable). I'm going to try Z-Link on a Laser 128, as it seems that it doesn't work on those things. I'll hopefully get it working soon. Thanks.
