In this month's Open-Apple, Weishaar discusses Claris, Styleware, and software that has simply disappeared over the years. One example that he mentions is AppleWriter ][. I have the DOS 3.3 version, and would like to get the Prodos version. I haven't worried about it much until now, as it seems it is out of production. Can somebody please tell me how I can get a hold of this extremely versatile editor? and an ethical question: if a piece of software is no longer published, does it become free-ware/shareware? Can it be posted onto comp.sys.apple or apple2-l? That would be the easiest way for me to get Applewriter, and I would even like to recover a copy of StarMaze and Choplifter, both of which crashed on me a year ago (the disk probably wore out). Capt.
