SFLovers had some discussion about Star Trek books in the last month or so. Does anyone have those back issues? (If you have any back issues, I'll look through them myself). I remember one of the messages talking about a book that was quite good, even from the point of view of a casual ST fan. The name that sticks in my head is McInytre (sp?), who wrote the novelization of "Wrath of Kahn" and "Search For Spock". Paul

From: Jef Poskanzer <Poskanzer.PA@XEROX.ARPA> By far the best Star Trek spin-off book that I've read (and I've read many of them) is "The Final Reflection", by John Ford. The rest are pretty much trash, but this one is really excellent. Ford has also written two other novels, both good: "Web of Angels" and "The Princes of the Air" (I think that's right - I may have it confused with the isomorphic movie). --- Jef

Have you read the books by Vonda McIntyre (y/n)? Are they trashy too? Wistie
