Backup II v1.1.1 also comes on the disk that's included with the Apple II SCSI Card Owner's Guide. The guide is part of the Enhanced (Rev. C) Apple II SCSI Card package. In addition to Backup II and documentation, there are documented utilities to partition SCSI hard disks into two volumes, and to test your hard disk for damaged blocks. The manual/3.5 disk package is probably available without your having to buy the SCSI card. The Apple part number for the manual/disk is 030-3118-D, Copyright 1986, 1988. Backup II was handy for me when I partitioned my hard disk. ProSel's backup utility will only restore to a volume of the same size as was backed up, so I used Backup II to backup my HD, and restore the files after partitioning. Once I had the files back on the HD, I returned to using ProSel for most of my hard disk maintenance. Does anyone know of other utilities that implement hard disk backups similar to the way Backup II does, but more elegantly? :)
