APDA products are not for the chosen few. I believe that anyone who states that they are a software or hardware developer, and that they have substantial experience in computer programming and in using programmers' tools and utilities in the development of software, can apply for membership. I think the annual membership fee is still $20.00. One of the statements agreed to by applicants is "Applicant understands and acknowledges that the products distributed through the association are of a highly technical nature, and that neither the association, nor Apple Computer, Inc., nor authorized Apple dealers will offer the applicant technical support in the use of such products." Another is "Applicant understands that most or all of these products will be licensed or sold without warranty of any kind whatsoever." Belonging to APDA is a way for those of us who do not qualify as certified or registered Apple developers to get useful programming tools. And in the latest APDAlog, there are hints that technical support will be added in the not too distant future. :) You can probably get more information through the A.P.P.L.E. Co-op, 290 SW 43rd St., Renton, WA 98055 (206) 251-6548.
