[comp.sys.apple] Apple //c+

jm7e+@ANDREW.CMU.EDU ("Jeremy G. Mereness") (09/19/88)

My point about the //c+ is two fold. I am not trying to downplay the //c,
as I have one. The problem is....

#1 Sales of the //c have always been less than the //e because of the lack of
expansion slots and the case does not allow schools to secure them. This is why
a //c is currently cheaper than a driveless //e

#2 Apple could have come out with a gs+ THIS YEAR! They HAVE the designs NOW!
and Why, for example, does the //c+ not have a 65c816? or a SCSI port?

That's all.
