I do not own AE Pro (I own Mousetalk... a sweet term program) but I have a question from a novice user in our user group that I am unable to help with. She is trying to get AE to do VT-52 emulation and it just does not seem to work for her. She selects something called UPDATE MACROS which allows her to SET EMULATION and when she selects VT-52 nothing loads off of disk, nor does it work... I may be a little shakey about the order or sequence of what it is she is doing, it is so much easier with Mousetalk to do this sort of thing and I cannot help her. In response to the question about using terminal emulation with AE Pro. I believe it will work if she sets up a macro that includes the VT-52 selection for Incoming and Outgoing data, then load the macro everytime she wants to use VT-52. Also, it would be a good thing if she made sure Emulation was ON. I'm using ProTERM right now, which is quite a bit easier to set up for emulation (it isn't "hidden" like in AE Pro). But, then again, I have some complaints about ProTERM, also. Hope that answered your question. Rob
