Has anyone else noticed a problem running the TML Pascal compiler (APW version) under GS/OS? I can compile the first time with no problem, but the second time the compiler will usually crash (monitor comes up showing a BRK or COP instruction at an address in bank 0). The first few times I saw this, I thought it might have been the program I was debugging. But last night I took a simple program and compiled it twice. (I didn't run any other utilities between the compiles.) The compiler crashed the second time. I found that the compiler wouldn't crash if I ran a S16-type program between the compiles. Perhaps it has something to do with APW holding the compiler in memory after it is run the first time. I've got 1 meg of expansion memory, 96K of which I use as a RAM disk. I also have a Sider hard disk in slot 7 that I boot off of. Do any other TML Pascal users have good/bad GS/OS experiences to share? --Dave - - - - - ARPA: tribby%hpda@hplabs.HP.COM UUCP: hplabs!hpda!tribby
