Does anyone know if the following is possible -- I'd like to be able to use the finder to select several files and directories (of different kinds) at once and then launch (double click) an S16 application that is passed the pathnames of the selected files and directories. I know that if you select several files all belonging to the same application and then double click (open) them their application gets launched automatically and they all get passed to it through the MessageCenter. That doesn't seem to happen if you select the files and then attempt to select an application -- the files all get deselected first (even if you hold down the shift key) and are not passed to the application. Would it work if the application were written and installed as an NDA? (I'd be writing the application in TML Pascal, but don't even want to start digging in until it even seems possible; I'd hate to set up all the scaffolding it takes to interact even a little with ProDos & the Toolbox to find there is a dead end.)
