Dana Andrews played the detective. Vincent Price played the friend of the shot woman. The score, "Laura," was by David Raskin and is available as a reissue. "Laura's Theme" is from Dr. Zhivago. "Laura" was remade for television in 1955 with George Sanders, Dana Wynter, and Robert Stack. Elvira

No. That's "Lara's Theme". Someone wrote some lyrics that
started "Somewhere my Love" and "Lara's Theme" is also known
by that title.
