Something very interesting (well, kind of interesting) happened to me whilst booting up GS/OS today. Nothing damaging in the least, just a curiosity and hopefully someone can tell us about this 'easter egg' (for lack of a more informed term) in my copy of GS/OS. I was playing around trying to remember that sequence of keys you use while the 'Check Startup Device' sliding Apple is displayed on the screen to get the system to display the names of the IIgs development team. Here is what I pressed while GS/OS was in drive one with the caps lock key off: Control/Open Apple/N/Re-set (quite a feat of digital gymnastics) and here is what I got on my screen: ------------------------------------ Welcome to the world of GS/OS v02.00 The Apple IIgs Operating System Copyright 1983-1988 by Apple Computer, Inc. I sure was surprised. Of course I pressed the space bar and everything proceeded to boot, but WITHOUT the little graphic screen that has the progress indicator, just a blank screen. I tried it three times with same result every time. By the way -- what IS the sequence of keys to get the design team names displayed anyway?
