Folks, I know Addison-Wessely publishes Apple's Manuals now and that there are about a dozen volumes about different aspects of the Apple //GS. What I don't know is which manual covers what. I want to buy a manual that covers the new extended built in monitor and summarizes the instruction set of the processor, much like the old Apple //e Reference manual and the old big red book. Can anyone tell me what it is called? I would also like some kind of reference work that describes the boot process of GS/OS, something that tells me things like the order files get loaded in, and what the "special" file names are (like startup, hello, whatever) and what the tools are.... Can someone please tell me which manuals have the proper information? Also is there a better way to get them than buying them at a mall bookstore or walking into an Apple Dealer? Seymour
