Does anyone know exactly what causes Backup II to issue the error message "FILE EXPECTED"? I'm trying to save my whole harddrive (a 40 meg Everex) so I can partition it and use the whole thing. It got all the way through (24 disks), verified the last volume, said it was updating the directories, and then gave me that message. Tried saving a much smaller part of the volume (2 disks worth) -- sometimes went OK, sometimes got the same message. I tried restoring one of the two disk saves that had received the message -- it got through the first volume and repeated (on the restore) the same error message. I'm stumped. TMPLee@Dockmaster.arpa
