BROWNVM is a BITNET site (not on the Internet and, consequently, not an FTP site). The headers from BROWNVM have been arriving for some time as from "brownvm.brown.BITNet" I don't think BITN or BITNET is yet a legit Internet node. Internet mailers recogize the BITNET domain and simply send mail to the designated gateway(s) usually cunyvm.cuny.edu. If you want the index of APPLE2-L files, send email to LISTSERV@BROWNVM.BITNET with the message INDEX APPLE2-L [The Far Side shall return (I hope)] Murph Sewall Sewall@UCONNVM.BITNET Business School sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@mitvma.mit.edu [INTERNET] U of Connecticut {rutgers psuvax1 ucbvax & in Europe - mcvax} !UCONNVM.BITNET!SEWALL [UUCP] -+- My employer isn't responsible for my mistakes AND vice-versa!
