Question: can the application that is being launched change the text that
is displayed on the blackened SHR screen before windows start getting
opened? My assumption is yes, because some applications say "Loading Ram
tools", but when running Tower Of Hanoi (from Apple 2-L), I got a
"Hold On to your hat" which disappears after .5 secs. Maybe I'm just
superstitious after getting a hard drive, but when I ran Vaccine on it,
it also shows calls to the System Clock for both read and write.
Any thoughts?
