hey there i'm interested in getting a patch or something to change the default settings in the OA-O printer options menu for the appleworks word processor. in particular, i want to change the top margins from top-0 bottom-2 to top-1 bottom-1 which certainly makes more sense. thanks mark pfaff msp@psuecl

Sorry, no top or bottom margins. My method of choice for changing the default top and bottom margins is to use a macro program, such as TimeOut UltraMacros to do this for you each time you boot AppleWorks. Another alternative is to create an empty file with the margins you want, and save this. This becomes your "template" or "style sheet" for all your future files (just remember to rename it before re-saving).
