I'm looking for some information on the sound chips used in the AppleII GS. They're supposed to be similar to the chips used in the Ensoniq mirage sampler, but that's all I know. Any help pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. -=- Michael S. As soon as the IIGS came out I discovered this (see the BYTE with the IIGS on the cover, I don't know the date - around Oct '86 ? or is it '85 ). I called Ensoniq to see if they were going to make the chips available on the open market, but they weren't. Maybe now that they have new improved versions (EPS) maybe they will sell them to experimentors. I didn't try the service department, maybe that would work.
