Apple II binary files on this network are generally in Executioner format. They can be downloaded any old way (including a capture buffer), and then EXECed into whatever kind of file they originally were, although some turn into Binary II files and need to be decoded using BLU (which is available on this network -- Apple2-L). Mac files are, I believe, in MacBinary format. Most Mac communications programs contain provisions for conversion. (There's a greater chicken or egg problem with the Mac because it doesn't have anything like a BASIC interpreter built in.) Alan H.
