There is a free terminal program (simple TTY) available on Compuserve called FreetermGS which runs in native mode and supports XMODEM and Capture and supports automatic conversion and creation of BINARY II files. It's not bad for the price, but probably only useful for BINARY II transfers unless no other communications software is available. Mark

Hello, I pulled both freeterm programs from the list, execed them according to instructions, and extracted them with BLU without error. Now for the hitch, W hen the resulting program was run under proDOS 16 and OS/GS, it crashed just af ter going to the desktop. Holding down the CTRL Reset reveals the following: 051: 0 F R F A87 =0BY00 =19D00 =1B0 =0M0 EC0 m1x1e1 021:(3 lines of hex figures with text equivalents) Any idea what is going on besides catastophic error? And is there any way to f ix it? Should you decide to accept this assignment, PLEASE tell me what is goi ng on. THANKS... Kenn
