I've been having a few problems with my system lately and I was wondering if any of the technical people out on Info-Apple might be able to help. The major problem with my GS right now, I have quite a few, is that it is having a idenity crisis. You know the choice on the control panel for System Speed that says either FAST or NORMAL. Well... regardless of what my GS is set to it runs according to a SIN wave. A sin wave with an amplitude of 1/10 Mhz to 10 Mhz and a period (duration of cycle) of 2-5 minutes. Needless to say... this is rather anoying. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what might be wrong? I took it to the only authorized Apple dealer in the area last Friday (it's now Wednesday)... and the Tech person there hasn't even looked at it yet!!! The techie said that he might get a chance to glance at it tomorrow... "Not in the morning. Maybe in the afternoon." Has anyone else had problems like this? All Apple technicians can't be this slow, can they?
