I remember from awhile back someone mentioning that he made a Seagate bases hard drive. I'd appreciate it if that person (or anyone else who knows how) would send me the information on how to do this. My main concern is the software. I assume that the hardware isn't TOO difficult, but how does one go about writing drivers and support routines? Will standard CMS stuff work, and if so, where does one get it? Specifically, I'm looking to build a 60meg SCSI with an access time of less than...say...50. If this doesn't work I might get that new AI internal. Has anyone purchased it yet? If so, what scores do you give it?? On another note, I vote against the Apple IIGS/IIe,IIc,II+ split. Virtually all of the posts deal with the latest and ...err... greatest... of the series anyway so what is the point? What do you want to do if the Apple IIGS+ comes out (ho ho ha ha)? Split the IIGS and IIGS+ into two separate groups? If we're going to get Apple to listen to anything we say we need some Apple II solidarity here. _______________________________________________________________________________ Yet another financially insecure self-taught Apple II programmer unsuccessfully attempting to _support_ his expensive habits _with_ his expensive habits...(??)
