[comp.sys.apple] apple kermit & ssun unix

Anyone know what TERMCAP one should use on a Sun unix system to
get GNU emacs to work with kermit 3.81 in vt100 mode? (I
think I'm using 3.81; its about then anyway.)  Works fine in vt52;
cursor position gets all mixed up in vt100.

Version 3.81 is obsolete. I don't remember exactly what's been fixed
since then, but the problem may be in Kermit 3.81's VT100 emulation.
I recommend you ftp version 3.84 from cunixc.cc.columbia.edu (BITNet users
can find version 3.84 on KERMSRV@CUVMA).
