Are there any good object oriented graphics programs for the IIGS (
something like Mac Draw)?

Yes, there are several object-oriented graphics programs for the IIgs.  I
can't give a recommendation, because the only one I use is TOP DRAW, so
I have nothing to compare it to.  It does have the problem that it will
hang if you have too many memory resident CDAs loaded, but otherwise does
fine.
