[comp.sys.apple] C compiler for II+

The only C compiler I've heard about for the Apple II (non GS) is
Aztec C. Does anyone know if I can use it with a 64K Franklin Ace 1000
(Apple II+)? And how much will it cost? I haven't been able to find it
anywhere.

Aztec C is produced by Manx Software, somewhere in NJ (Shrewsbury?).
Manx advertises in several IBM/MAC hobbyist magazines and occasionally
in others. I seem to recall that the full ProDOS-based development
kit (with support also for DOS 3.3), including editor, diff, etc.
cost something like $180. (I got mine via gradual upgrades..)

manx' address is:

manx software systems, inc.
p.o. box 55
shrewsbury, NJ 07701
1-201-542-2121 (inside NJ & outside US) or
1-800-221-0440 (outside NJ)

they also have a bbs running at 201-542-2793 (300/1200 bps).

hope this helps.
