[comp.sys.apple] Need info on color monitors

jmb@cbnews.ATT.COM (James M. Brohard) (11/27/88)

I am in the market for a color monitor for my Apple IIGS.
What are my options as far as price and features go?
The local Microcenter has the Apple rgb monitor for
$429. Is this a decent price?

Thanks for any information.

Check out the Sony KV1311-CR before making your monitor choice.. Screen is
larger, and it is a cable ready TV in addition to being a full featured
and very sharp RGB monitor.

We have two of them and love 'em.

I think you could get it for about $30 (or more) less if you did decide to buy
an Apple RGB

Yes, I think so. After Apple's price increase, I saw the RGB for about
$499-$599 elsewhere.
