Well folks, I've kept my mouth shut about the GS / ][ discussion on wether
we should split the group in two or not. I don't care.
However, something is happenning again, and it's really beginning to bother
me. The subject line's of source/binaries should explicitly say "GS only"
or something along those lines. Yes, I know, I can't run APW on my //e, and
obviously the new APW thingie you just sent shouldn't make me wonder if it's
going to work on me //e. However, 'pick' and my kill file don't know this.
Finally, supposing you don't want to say "GS only" (you think you really
don't need to say "][ only, since it's supposed to also work on a GS then
think of this: How am I supposed to know if someone just didn't include the
"GS only" tag?), or even if you do, since it's a handy thing to do, put a
small paragraph describing the stuff you're sending! "DIcED" just isn't quite
enough for me to figure out what it does. Yes, I know you post to
comp.sys.apple to let us know you're sending it out, but I can get upwards
of 50 messages a day on comp.sys.apple, without enough time to dig through
them before I get to comp.binaries.apple2.
So PLEASE: Says "GS only" or "all ]['s".
Thank you for reading this. It aplies to the server at brown as well.
