I was very interested in trying out Chris Shatara's SUPERPRINT program that was recently posted to the APPLE2-L list. I first broke the file into the two parts and downloaded them from my mainframe to my Apple //gs using Kermit. Part 1 EXECed correctly and created SUPPRINT.1, but when I EXECed part 2, I got "ERROR" during the E00G instruction after the BSAVE. Hoping that only the file dates were incorrect, I went ahead and ran the last 4 lines (a glue program that creates SUPPRINT.BQY) and then attempted to extract the program with BLU 2.28. Unfortunately, both BLU 2.28 and 2.27 reported a checksum error (internal error $76). Thinking that the file may have been corrupted during its trip from BROWNVM to my mainframe, I requested a copy from the APPLE2-L listserver. A comparison of the two files showed that they were identical, but I went ahead and downloaded the new copy with exactly the same results. Has anyone been successful in getting this program to run? I assume that the file must have been corrupted during its transmission between Chris Shatara and Chris Chung (of APPLE2-L fame at BROWNVM). Could Chris Shatara please send another copy to the APPLE2-L list? ------------------------------------------------------------------- J.
