[comp.sys.apple] Computer processors

TMURPHY@WPI.BITNET (12/10/88)

Sorry to be so picky, it's just my nature. Anyway, while Apple may be the only
company to market computers based on TWO distinct processor families,
Sun Microsystems has THREE. The Sun-3 series, 68020 based, the Sun-4 series,
SPARC based (a RISC chip), and the Sun 386i, 80386 based. They all have a
common user interface, SunView.

I don't think Sun Microsystems has the same problem as Apple does. That wasn't
the point of my post (see way back December 7 - I think most people missed it).
