Ummm...this must be some strange usage of the word "confirmed" which
I wasn't previously aware of. [Apologies to Douglas Adams.]

That thing was apparently a 2/3-hearted attempt at writing something
to look like an official Apple press release. Since I am a certified
developer myself and also work part-time for another certified
developer, I'm sure I would have seen at least two copies of the
press release if it existed. An official press release would also
have caused a lot of talk on CompuServe, GEnie, and
AppleLink--Personal Edition, which I would have noticed. THERE HAS
BEEN NO ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANY GS PLUS.

By the way, I'm not even particularly impressed with the creative
writing...there are a few subtle things in there that seem to give
away the fact that it's a fake (read it carefully & see if you don't
see what I mean).

>O.K. There you have it....Anyone who works with apple want to
>confirm it?

I don't work for Apple, but I know that no Apple employee is allowed
to talk about any "products which may or may not be under
development" before they are officially announced. So the most
they'll be able to do is confirm that there has been no official
announcement.

Actually, that wasn't your question, was it? You asked if any of
them _wanted_ to confirm it. :-) I suspect many of them would want
very much to tell us what's in store for the future of the GS if
they were allowed to, but we'll just have to wait and see. It's
even conceivable that some of the stuff in that pseudo-press-release
is actually in the works, but as far as I know there's no solid
reason to think so.
