I am giving my Applecat modem to someone with a deaf daughter. Since the Applecat can do the 45.5 baud type speed. From reading the manuals I saw that they need a modifiction to do this. Does anyone know how this is/should be done?? Also I need the Deaf Diskette. If anyone can HELP please send me mail. This is real urgent and I'm sure the family will appreciate this. One reason I'm posting this is I think that Novation is no longer with us.. Joe

I'm 99% sure that it's just software, since AE Pro (circa 1982) supports 'deaf' mode without the firmware chip or Deaf Diskette. -- - Ralph W.
