RE: Backing up hard disk

The best disk backup utility that I am aware of is part of Glen Bredon's
PROSEL package. Prosel is a program selector/disk utilities package
available only from Glen himself for $40. It runs under Prodos 8,
although Prosel-16 (which runs under prodos 16) is due out in February (if
you have a GS). Prosel16 will be $60 ($20 if you already bought Prosel.

I have no connection with Glen other than as a satisfied user, but I
honestly think every Apple owner with a hard disk should have Prosel.
(Sorry I don't have Glen Bredon's address with me, but it was posted
recently and I'm sure someone here has it...)

RE: File Finder
While I am not aware of a NDA file finder, Prosel has a program to find
files, and Davex (a shareware command processor from Dave Lyons) has file
finding commands. (Davex is $25).

Hope this information is helpful
