Dave Troup mentions USR's 9600 baud modem. Well I say be careful. The original HST does not follow the V32 standard and today I saw even USR is coming arround and selling a v32 and a dual V32,HST modem with an upgrade offer. The HST is less expensive but the only standard which is likely to survive is the V32 the industry standard. Prives will come down modems at 19.2K are already available. Consider carefully the life you expect out of your modem and the price. Grant
